BIPOC (Black, indigenous, people of color)/women of color often confront challenges rooted in systemic oppression, such as racism, discrimination, misogyny, or bigotry, that can impact their mental health and overall well-being.

These experiences can manifest in various settings, including the workplace, academic institutions, or everyday interactions. Dr. Christine Coleman, Founder and CEO of POC Thriving, will delve deeply into why this doesn't have to be the prevailing narrative. Drawing from her clinical expertise and social activism, Dr. Coleman will provide examples of how allies have supported women of color and will outline ways in which mental health practitioners can contribute to advancing behavioral health equity.
